Temporary Worker Housing
Temporary Worker Housing
All shipping containers are made to the same standard measurements and as such they provide modular elements that can be combined into larger structures. This simplifies design, planning and transport. Since they are designed to interlock for ease of mobility, when the job is finished, the structures can be dismantled, transported to the new job site and reassembled.
The cost-to-build using containers is less expensive than traditional modes of construction, primarily because of the tremendous savings in the cost of framing the structures, as well as the shortened construction time, resulting in a notable reduction in the cost of funds.
This facility will house 840 workers and can be expanded vertically or horizontally depending on the needs of a project. Each room is ventilated and sprinklered. There are bathroom and shower units, and a recreation center with indoor and outdoor areas joins the two mirrored sides of the building.
