Afghanistan Housing Program
This housing program is a project of S3 Advisors LLC and the Afghanistan World Foundation. It is designed to provide the displaced people of Afghanistan with inexpensive housing so they may rebuild their communities and have normal lives again.

A village in Afghanistan made with shipping containers
Shipping container modules can be reconfigured to create a wide variety of structures, which can easily be finished to blend into any locale. Our plan easily adapts to the Afghan tradition of compound living.
Each container is divided to accomodate two families. Once the prefabricated and insulated modules are in place, locals add the finishing mud layer to the inside and outside walls.They then build the walls of the compound and add auxiliary buildings depending on their needs, thus creating a diverse community.
